Edinburgh trip

Glasgow trip

So , here I come , Glasgow-the largest city in Scotland. So, I thought that Manchester seems to be the second largest metropolitan area in England , thus it should be greater and better than Glasgow in many ways. It turns out to be surprising me that Glasgow has their own tube system although it is much smaller than the London tube system but it is better than Manchester!! So , what can I do in Glasgow? I have been told there isn't much attractions in Glasgow . I somehow agree that . What I have been doing in Glasgow are visiting the University of Glasgow, the museum in the university-The Hunter, visiting botanical garden and touring around shopping street in the city centre. One interest fact is that Scottish call their breakfast as Scottish breakfast while it seems to be so alike with English breakfast. Therefore, I come to a conclusion that British call their breakfast at different name based on the places . Besides, I have been collecting Scottish pound since I am a money collector.
FYI: British pound is a bit different with Scottish pound with Scottish pound having three variants but their value is the same.

Celebrating flat mate birthday in Glamorous Restaurant

This restaurant is located at the northern quarter of Manchester. We have ten persons in total and we ordered six dishes with the most expensive one being the mixture of chicken, duck and pork. It costs us £10.9 per person. One memorable thing to mention is that there are several family celebrating birthday in the restaurant as well. The restaurant provides the free cake for the birthday star with the candle;) The meal also includes free soup and desert are served after the meal. The desert consists of orange and red bean soup. In conclusion, this supposed to be a nice restaurant to celebrate birthday in Manchester :)

Sunday lunch at Pearl City Chinatown

The Pearl City provides a lunch set for three persons and it costs £14.8. The lunch set consists of one main dish in the menu option and there are four dim sum dishes to be chosen from the 2+ options and last but not least the three persons will share a desert. We have total of six persons so we share the two main dish , eight dim sum and two deserts :)) blissful sunday afternoon with very full stomach!!

San Carlo's Manchester

San Carlo's is an Italian restaurant in Manchester. Out of ten, I would give the restaurant an eight. Each of us order a dish and we share two mixed plates.

Beautiful Manchester

When you walk around Manchester, you will be able to discover the beautiful cityscapes that it has! So , enjoy the scenery of Manchester!

Sunday Lunch

This is my first time trying Thai food in Manchester. It has been a great experience and the food bas been really succulent. The Thai restaurant is named as ThaiKhun. You can feel that Thai people have been really respect about their king since they have their king's photo in the restaurant. My churchmates and I have tried the Thai Christmas set meal which costs arounf £17 per person. In order to order the Christmas set in ThaiKhun, you have to find another three persons to order the meal. Not to forget iced Thai tea recommended by my churchmate, but for me it tasted a bit like teh tarik in Malaysia but iced Thai tea doesn't have the sweetiness of teh tarik. We had kuey teow, bihun and Satay in our meal which I thought those are Malaysian delicacy. However, there might be some differences in the way of preparation of food. Nom nom nom! Sawadikap!
