CNY reunion dinner at Yang Shin

This was my first time celebrating CNY overseas(Manchester) and first time not having reunion dinner with my family. I had my CNY reunion dinner in Yang Shin with my fellow churchmates. We ordered vegetarian dumplings, pork dumplings and pork rib as dimsum. Then we had two plates of taufu(of different kind, though I had no idea why we ordered two plates of taufu) which one plate having really nice white and smooth texture. We almost ordered a big fish for £60 (since it's not in the menu, we don't know the price initially. We then opted for the smaller fish which costs £20. We were given free soup if we went to Yang Shin for dinner during weekdays. We also had seafood plates,vegetables and pork as well. In total it costed almost £160 for eight of us.

Dinner at 雅苑

Since it's the first day of CNY, it's hard to find a restaurant which is not full. We came to this restaurant and I would say I would not recommend you going if you are not patient enough. It is because we have waited more than an hour for our first dish to be served though I would say I like the dish here. I had four bowls of rice since I was quite hungry after waiting for one hour and half. We ordered Malaysian Kangkung, goat belly(not sure), fish, seafood dish and sweet and sour pork. It costs £82 for eight of us. The first photo shown is the gate in Chinatown.

Lunch+dinner in RARE Leeds

So if you search unusual restaurant in Leeds using google map. You will find this restaurant named as Rare. A really recommended restaurant! The staffs have been really friendly and helpful.(My friend's handphone was out of charge and was asking for the charger from the staff and they help my friend to charge it!(nice service) Not to forget about the food! I guess they are famous for their steak since they have more options for their steak. We were served with the free sausage. I had a black pudding with hashbrown as the starter for £7(will need to tie up my stomach for next week). Then I order a beef burger for £13.5 with potato wedges serving. And Xiao Cai big bro gave each of us try the steak he ordered which costs £45. (Hondoni aligato onichan!)

Breakfast at Mrs Alta's Leeds

Would like to give credit to xiao cai brother to bring us here for the breakfast. Nice restaurant in Leeds with nice ambience with quite pricey price(Enjoy of the weekend). It offers incredible food. I ordered the English breakfast which costs £4.5 and it includes toast and scrambled egg. So I add the bacon with an additional cost of £1.5. And I had the hot chocolate for my breakfast as well and it offers a piece of chocolate beside which I thought was a stone!

Sunday lunch with churchmate at Yang Cheng(Literal meaning is sheep city which somehow refer to Guangzhou in China)

This is my first time coming to this restaurant and we have had eleven dishes of DimSum, a bowl of porridge, a plate of fried rice, a plate of rice with pork and chicken and half of a duck. All these are shared among nine people with each of us having to pay £12. The Dimsum we order includes Prawn dumpling, Pork Pau, chicken claw, carrot cake, siumai, butter bun, "salty dumpling", fried prawn dumpling and others which I have forgotten😅😅. A definitely nice place for DimSum. After that we went to Arndale(Manchester second largest shopping mall) for window shopping and grocery shopping.

Lunch at Sushi Bar

This is one of the most popular place for having lunch. They start their lunch set at 1200. The location is beside Manchester Aquatics Centre and it is located underground. You will need to wait outside to be served due to the overwhelming response. The menu changed quite often because I found that the menu last time and this time is quite different . So I had Rice with Malaysian beef rendang and Prawn Tempura Dumpling and it costs £5.95. Definitely a recommended place for lunch in Manchester though a little pricey for me.

Lunch at Jiang Nang again

This is the shop that I went for my lunch and dinner before and this is my fourth time coming here. It was on Wednesday during the class break.
