Have a wide insight of other countries' doings
Able to travel a lot(provided u hav lots of money)
Able to befriend with friends from different countries

Learn how to stay alone

Loss:
Time spent with family and friends in ur hometown
Feeling alienated when you get back to ur country
Feeling discriminated when you flip through facebook and instagram and u see a bunch of friends having gatherings without u.
