Sunday dinner at Taipan

This is another Chinese restaurant that I have tried in Manchester. I'm not sure what kind of food they offer because I am having steamboat that night. It costs around £17.5 including service charge per person for the set meal we order. When finishing the meal, you can request for desert and fruit from the waiter for free(I guess this is common for Hong Kong restaurant because I went to Glamorous and Pearl City and being offered the desert and fruit). If you don't feel full with the meal , you can get the Udon noodles from waiter as well(guess it's for free as well or included in the meal because I saw the receipt showing set meal for nine persons). When I was in Sibu, I used to put the egg in the steamboat and boil it but the way Hong Kong people having the egg is different. They crack the egg and pour it inside the small bowl then later pour the soy sauce and stir the egg. Then when you take the cooked food from the pot, just add it into the raw egg and eat it. We have two sets of chopstick in which one set is for eating and another set is for putting the raw food into the pot. Just have a peep on the food we have and determine whether it's worth the price or not by yourself.
