Sunday Lunch

This is my first time trying Thai food in Manchester. It has been a great experience and the food bas been really succulent.The Thai restaurant is named as ThaiKhun. You can feel that Thai people have been really respect about their king since they have their king's photo in the restaurant. My churchmates and I have tried the Thai Christmas set meal which costs arounf £17 per person. In order to order the Christmas set in ThaiKhun, you have to find another three persons to order the meal. Not to forget iced Thai tea recommended by my churchmate, but for me it tasted a bit like teh tarik in Malaysia but iced Thai tea doesn't have the sweetiness of teh tarik. We had kuey teow,bihun and Satay in our meal which I thought those are Malaysian delicacy. However, there might be some differences in the way of preparation of food. Nom nom nom! Sawadikap!

University of Manchester

University of Manchester has been one of the most reputable university in UK with great number of admission of international students each year. The university offers a great environment for study with the four storey learning common opening twenty four seven. And the library opening until twelve oclock midnight every day.

Nando's in UK

Having tried Nando's in Malaysia and UK, I would say both are nice. It is just that UK Nando's more pricy than Malaysia Nando's. There are slight differences in the menu offered. It seems to be the 1/4 chicken in UK is in a smaller size than the one in Malaysia. The sauces offered are almost the same while there are differences in side dishes offered. UK Nando's offer less rice option with only spicy rice whereby in Malaysia Nando's , you can find Mediteranean rice and fried rice. UK Nando's offer the 1/4 chicken with 2 side dishes at £7.2 while Malaysia Nando's offer the same meal at around RM 17. Note that £1=RM5.40 at this point of time. So,why try Nando's in UK while you can try it in Malaysia ?

Lunch at chinese restaurant in manchester

曼城的中餐厅不在少数,那么try过的江南和redchilli都是不错的选择。在江南try过晚餐,lunch set 是第一次,黑椒牛肉饭是我试过的,味道相当不错,当然还有其他选择,我的朋友就try chicken teriyaki rice和四川面 。而red chilli 的lunch set则供鸡,牛,羊,杂菜(mixed vegetable)的选择。饭则有boiled rice or fried egg rice。酱料选择有satay,宫賲,酸甜以及等等。价钱方面,江南£5.00,red chilli£5.95.

Manchester Christmas Market

在英国或欧盟国家,冬季来临时,就会有圣诞市集。圣诞市集一般都销售着季节性的产品:首饰,服饰,腊肠,咖啡(附着照片)。说说这里的咖啡好了,这里除了销售一般的咖啡之外,也有特别的咖啡口味,譬如hot chocolate with bailey,那么bailey是一种酒,当然不只是bailey而已了。但是初次品尝, 在问过之候得知bailey是畅销的酒品。至于售价方面则是四英镑。
